We use the following criteria for awarding the Skiteufel Award:
The Bronze Award requires proficiency in carving fundamentals, parallel skiing, parallel turns, secure skiing in deep snow, controlled skiing over mogul runs, giant slalom, and a descent that's at most 20% behind the target time.
To earn the Silver Award, you need to demonstrate short and long carving turns in steep and undulating terrain, without speed criteria. Additionally, you should exhibit long, secure turns in deep snow and controlled skiing in mogul runs.
Giant slalom and descent times should be no more than 15% behind the target time.
For the Gold Award, you must execute rapid carving turns, both short and long, in any terrain. Speed and style are essential here. You also need to showcase short and long turns in deep snow and swiftly and securely navigate mogul runs.
Giant slalom and descent times should be no more than 10% behind the target time.
The assessment of skiing performance is conducted by the head ski instructor, with race times compared to a predefined standard.
For women, starting at age 50, a bonus point is awarded every 5 years, and for men, starting at age 55.
For children and teenagers, we offer the Skiteufel Junior! In this group, we assess performance in the fun park and jumping instead of mogul skiing and long descents.
